Burt Music Co. is a locally-owned music store and school founded by Harold Burt. In the 1950s, Mr. Burt organized the Cary High School Band and was band director at Apex, Millbrook and Garner High Schools. Burt Music Co. takes pride in the quality of its employees and teachers. All of their staff are trained musicians with years of experience capable and willing to assist you with any musical needs. AND - they like to talk shop. For over 25 years, they have been serving the Raleigh/Cary area with a large selection of instruments, accessories, printed music, music gifts, etc. Burt Music Co. also has repair technicians who can expertly and economically service instruments in a timely manner. The Burt School of Music is located beside our store and can be accessed from High Meadow Dr. Private lessons are offered by highly qualified instructors who are experienced performers and teachers. Lessons are available for all ages and on a wide range of instruments. Jason Anderson their resident stringed instrument repairman. With more than 40 years of experience, Jason is also an expert in acoustic, electric and classical guitars.
